Bret E. Russell, Managing Director
Prior to founding Red Diamond Capital as Managing Director in 2002, Bret Russell was a Managing Director of Saratoga Partners, a middle market private equity firm. He had been affiliated with Saratoga Partners since 1988, when it was the corporate buyout group of Dillon, Read & Co. Inc. Mr. Russell led a number of Saratoga’s successful investments in the manufacturing, building products, telecommunications and information technology industries.
Prior to joining Saratoga, Mr. Russell had been a member of the corporate finance department of Dillon Read since 1981. He played a key role in a large number of merger and acquisition, financing and advisory transactions in the aerospace and defense, chemical, energy and telecommunications industries.
